Laura Aversano, D.D.S.
When you visit us at Manhattan Dental Care, you will receive dentistry to give you the smile you desire in a pleasant environment, and all delivered by a warm, welcoming staff.
Dr. Laura Aversano has served as an associate professor of fixed and removeable prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. During her time as associate professor at UIC, she also worked with junior and senior dental students during their clinical training. After the birth of her daughter, Ava, in 2007, Dr. Aversano decided to devote more time to her family and temporarily took a hiatus from teaching. As part of her continued commitment to giving back, Dr.Aversano and Manhattan Dental Care participate in the Illinois Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. This program, along with referrals from local organizations, allows Dr. Aversano to reach out to the local community and provide free dental care to those people in need. Dr. Aversano has also volunteered her free time in Chicago land clinics to donate dental services. Every year Manhattan Dental Care hosts a candy buy back where children receive $1 per pound of Halloween candy. The candy is donated to Operation Care Package. Manhattan Dental Care collects several hundred pounds of candy every year. Dr. Aversano’s community service was recently recognized by Moraine Valley Community College. She was inducted into the college’s inaugural Hall of Fame Class in November 2014, in part, because of her community outreach.
Working with a Caring Staff
Dr. Aversano believes strongly in providing quality dental care to her patients. Her philosophy is to listen to her patients and ensure their comfort. Manhattan Dental Care staff plays a crucial role in easing a patient’s concern and Dr. Aversano requires that each member of her staff shows the necessary gently and passionate care towards all patients.
New advances are made in dentistry each year, and keeping abreast of the latest technology is essential to providing the best dentalcare. Dr. Aversano is committed to knowledge and always exceeds the yearly amount of required education.
Dr. Aversano is a graduate of the 2002 class of dentistry from the University of Illinois. Her and her husband of 10 years, Vince Aversano, reside in Manhattan. Together, they enjoy spending time with their daughter Ava and are very active in the community.

I am a graduate of Northwestern University's Dental Hygiene program, and have been a Dental Hygienist for more than 20 years. It's unbelievable to me that I have been treating patients in family practice since 1991. Over the years, I have obtained advanced certifications in hygiene. I am often amazed by how much I love my job. I truly enjoy helping people improve their beautiful smiles through patient education and a complete "cleaning". I am elated to be a part of Manhattan Dental Care because we share the "patient first" philosophy.
I am a Chicagoan, born and raised, but I have found my home in the south suburbs. I have been living in a neighboring suburb of Manhattan for the last seven years. I have three children, ages 16, 13, and 11, and because our communities have great schools, it is the main reason I have chosen to raise my children in this area.
During my time aware from the office, I enjoy spending time with my children, family and close friends. Running has been one of my long-standing passions. I have completed several half marathons. I would also consider myself a foodie and wine lover.
Olga Madrigal is fluent in Spanish

I have been working as a dental hygienist since 1999 and my path has brought me back to Manhattan. I have spent my career treating patients of all ages in family practices. Education and relationships are the cornerstones of treating dental disease. My focus is my patients, and I strive to educate them on ways to improve their dental hygiene. I to look forward to their appointments to give them the home-care tools they need between their appointments.
I have strong roots in the Manhattan community from my childhood. I was born and raised in Joliet and currently reside in Shorewood. I have two grown daughters and a recent granddaughter, who is an absolute joy. My free time is spent on bike riding, bikram yoga, and cooking.

I am a graduate of the 2005 Kalamazoo Valley Dental Hygiene program. Immediately after graduation, I moved to Illinois and began working in the southern suburbs of Chicago. I have worked as a dental hygienist for 10 years. I was employed as a temporary placement through an agency during part of my career. I was introduced to Manhattan Dental Care in 2014. They have been my favorite office from the moment I walked through the door. I am extremely honored to be a part of their team.
As a hygienist, I strive to be the best at my job by taking note of my patient’s individual wants and needs. I am here to listen and offer suggestions on how they can achieve optimal oral health. Oral health is an integral part of overall health. It is something I am very passionate about. Every appointment is an opportunity to make a personal connection. My patients are the reason I enjoy my job to the fullest.
Outside of the dental office, you will most likely find me doing some sort of craft or project, driving around in my black and neon green Jeep Wrangler, taking a yoga class, or possibly at one of my children’s sporting events. My husband and I reside in the Frankfort/Mokena area with our three children Keegan (7), Jemma (6) and Zage (3). We also have a fur child Newfoundland named Prada.
